A man has died after he was allegedly struck by a truck after getting out of a car on a motorway in regional NSW.
Police say the man aged in his 20s was hit on the Pacific Mwy at Pimlico, in the state’s Northern Rivers Region, about 5.50pm on Thursday.
He was allegedly struck by a truck after exiting a car in the breakdown lane.

Paramedics treated the pedestrian at the scene however he could not be saved.
The driver of the truck, a 32-year-old man, was not injured and was taken to Ballina District Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police are investigating and a report will be prepared by the coroner.
