Neighbour Mike Kasumobic said he was alarmed by the shooting.
“I was very shocked that something like this is going on in this area,” he told 7NEWS.
“People to be driving around with firearms, what sounds to be firearms, it’s insane.”
Another occupant of the home criticised police over the teenager’s arrest.
“Police are very bad … they’ll act like something happened and they’ll just lock up my mate just cause they hate us,” one resident said.

The property’s owner told 7NEWS he had been trying to evict the tenants for a month but had been unable to establish grounds to do so.
He said he hoped the latest incident would help him regain possession of the property.
Police said the investigation was in its early stages but they did not believe the shooting was random.
