A child has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a moving truck in NSW.
The 10-year-old boy was in the passenger seat of the truck before he was ejected from the vehicle at the intersection of Kurmond Road and Tennyson Rd in North Richmond, about 20 minutes north of Penrith, about 1.30pm on Sunday.
The boy suffered serious head injuries when he hit the road.

“CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the child on scene,” Careflight said.
He was then taken to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a stable condition, accompanied by his mother.
NSW Police described his injuries as “minor”.
The truck driver — a 39-year-old man known to the child — was not injured.
