An aspiring stowaway has slipped past Jetstar staff without a boarding pass causing a minor delay for legitimate passengers.
The ticketless traveller slipped past flight crew and boarded flight JQ562 from Melbourne to Brisbane on Wednesday morning, 7NEWS understands.
The man was then spotted at the back of the plane just before take-off, leading to authorities being called.

The flight was set to take off at 9.35am, but did not depart until 10.09am.
It landed in Brisbane 28 minutes later than scheduled.

The flight was delayed by about half an hour as authorities removed the man from the plane. Credit: GoogleAustralian Federal Police (AFP) confirmed officers were called to Melbourne Airport about 10am following reports of an alleged airside security breach.
An AFP spokesperson said investigations into the incident were underway and “further comment will be made at an appropriate time”.
