A retail worker is fighting for his life after being attacked by teenage shoplifters at a store in Melbourne’s west.
Police say four teenagers entered the store in Sunshine just after 2pm on Saturday, with the youngest alleged offender aged just 13 years old.

The children allegedly stole items before being confronted by two staff members, sparking a terrifying attack.
A 60-year-old man working at the store was left with serious injuries and rushed to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.
Police quickly arrested two boys aged 13 and 15, both from the Brimbank area, as well as two girls aged 14 and 15.
The four teenagers are yet to be interviewed by detectives.
