As the world is shocked, America’s gangster-ism has struck again on Venezuela, a small country of 30 million people. A country which has done no harm to America.
Donald Trump’s criminal regime invaded this country on January 3, 2026 and kidnapped its president Nicolas Maduro and his wife; brought them to America and are now put them on fictitious trial where Maduro will be sentenced to life in prison.

Annihilation of the Native Americans: The white settlers who originally came from Britain, killed millions of Native Americans and stole their land which is North America today. It is horrifying to note that some 96% to 99% of the 12 to 18 millions of them were wiped out in a span of few centuries.
Slavery of the Africans: America’s white settlers, besides Spain, Portugal and Britain, brought millions of Africans as slaves in meso America. They carried out the slavery of Africans in most inhumane way, forced them to work in their plantations until millions of them died early deaths. Especially the slavery in America was the longest, most brutal institution carried out by white settlers from 16th to 18th centuries.
The Mexican-American War (1846-1848): It was a conflict sparked by the U.S. annexation of Texas, fueled by American expansionism (Manifest Destiny) and disputes over the Texas border, resulting in a decisive U.S. victory and the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, which ceded vast Mexican territories (the Mexican Cession) to the U.S., including California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico, significantly expanding the nation but also intensifying the national debate over slavery that foreshadowed the Civil War.

The Stolen Kingdom of Hawaii: Hawaii, before 1895, was a beautiful kingdom rules by a benevolent queen. In 1895, United States jailed the queen of Hawaii, took over the kingdom and annexed it in 1898.
After the World War-II, US has overthrown many regimes, invaded many countries, done regime change, carried out coups, and waged economic wars against countless nations. In the process, America has killed millions of people of other countries.
According to James A. Lucas, USA has killed from 20 to 30 million people around the world.
Let’s look at US crimes since world War-II:
The Korean War: This war was also not necessary. If election were allowed to take place in late 1940s after trusteeship for few years, as Russia suggested that, the US refused and then the Korean War took place.
Approximately 150,000 troops from South Korea, the United States, and participating U.N. nations were killed in the Korean War, and as many as one million South Korean civilians perished. An estimated 800,000 communist soldiers were killed, and more than 200,000 North Korean civilians died. Some 54,000 American soldiers also died in this war. It lasted from 1950 to 1953. Finally, it ended in a stalemate. Nobody won. Everybody lost. After the war, General Omar Bradley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff then said:
“Frankly, a great military disaster, the wrong war, in the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong enemy”.

Iran: In 1953, at urging of British PM Winston Churchill, US carried out a coup, overthrew the democratically elected president Mohammad Mosaddegh and installed a puppet named Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. He was later, in 1979, overthrown by a revolution and the Mullahs came to power. Since then, the US and Iran are enemies today.
Guatemala: In 1954, the CIA orchestrated the overthrow of Guatemala’s democratically elected President Jacobo Árbenz through Operation PB SUCCESS, ending his progressive land reforms and ushering in decades of US.-backed dictatorships and civil war, fueled by concerns over Communism and powerful US. economic interests, particularly the United Fruit Company (UFCO).
Bay of Pigs Fiasco: In early 1960s, US sent Cuban exiles to Cuba to overthrow Fidel Castro. But Castro fought back and arrested more than a thousand exiles. The whole mission was a huge fiasco.
Later, Russia put nuclear missiles in Cuba. Then Kennedy blockaded Cuba. Finally, with wisdom, Russia pulled back these missiles. But in the meantime, the world was on the brink of nuclear war between Russia and USA.

Atomic Bombing of Japan: As a retaliation of Japan’s attack on US ships in Hawaii, America dropped an atomic bomb on Japan on August 6, 1945 on Hiroshima. Two days later, America dropped second bomb on Nagasaki, Japan. In all, some 250,000 Japanese, mostly civilians were killed. The greatest criminality by America was that all this bombing was not necessary as Japan was already ready to surrender before these dastardly acts.
Vietnam War-1965-1975: President Kennedy increased US troops from 900 to 16,000 in 1960. Then President Johnson drastically increased US involvement in Vietnam war (which was originally a national conflict between North and South Vietnam). Finally, North Vietnam led by Ho Chi Minh won, drove out US troops, America was shamefully defeated finally and withdrew in 1975. Some three million Vietnamese were killed. Some 310,000 Cambodians, around 62, 000 Laotians and 58,220 US troops were killed in this disastrous immoral war.
Iraq War: Bush administration illegally started Iraq War in 2003 on a false pretext that Iraq was developing weapons of mass destruction. It lasted for several years. Then US had to withdraw its troops, gained nothing and was condemned globally. Over 3 million Iraqi people were killed along with 4492American soldiers killed, 32,292 U.S. service members wounded.
As per Linda Bilmes, reported by Washington Post, 2008, the total cost of this disastrous immoral war would be $3 trillion to the United States. What a criminal waste!

Murder and overthrow of Patrice Lumumba: He was an elected president of Democratic Republic of Congo, a great nationalist, who fought for the freedom and uplifting of his people was brutally killed. Before, America tried to murder him several times.
Though the U.S. role in the overthrow and murder of Lumumba was behind the scenes—main culprit was Belgium—the fact remains that Washington played a major role in his overthrow and execution.
Overthrow of Nkrumah of Ghana: In1966, the CIA was deeply involved in the overthrow of the president of Ghana, Mr. Nkrumah.
Coup in Indonesia: In 1965, the CIA did all it could to help the coup carried out by the Indonesian army. It supplied the army with the names of thousands of communists which resulted in the massacre which resulted in the deaths of more than 400,000 people. The United States along with its mainstream news media welcomed the outcome with enthusiasm and immediately turned to the task of supporting Suharto’s new regime.
Coup in Chile: In 1973, the Nixon administration—advised by infamous Kissinger—carried out a military coup in Chile resulting in the death of its democratically elected president, Salvador Allende. Thousands of people were killed. Army chief Augosto Pinochet came to power. His 17-year rule was marked by utter brutality, subjugation, atrocity by his army and massive corruption. His regime murdered more than 3500 civilians who just disappeared. According to the Valech report, at least 30,000 people were tortured and several thousands were exiled.
East Timor Tragedy: In 1975, the Ford administration gave a green light to dictator Suharto for the invasion of East Timor resulting in the deaths of more than 200,000 East Timorese.
Other Coups and interventions: America has helped carry out regime change or interference in their elections in many other countries such a Bolivia, El Salvador, Brazil, Nicaragua, Grenada, Dominican Republic and many more.
Panama Invasion: In 1989, George H. W. Bush Sr. administration brazenly invaded Panama, killed more than 3000 people and kidnapped its president, Manuel Noriega, tried him in U.S. court and sentenced him to life in prison where he died in jail. He was charged with drug smuggling but for many years, he was on the payroll of the CIA. Donald Trump seems to have learned from Bush Sr.
Partners in Crime: The United States dolls out about $4 billion every year since 1967 to Israel. Israel with tacit U.S. support has been carrying out mass killings of Palestinians with U.S. supplied weapons. Basically, Israel is just carrying out ethnic cleansing of Palestinians so that it can take over their lands. America is deeply involved indirectly in these ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.
Assassinations: Over the years, United States has carried out assassinations of several leaders of other countries including eight attempts to kill Fidel Castro of Cuba.
Libya: In 2011, The United States and France were deeply involved in the overthrow of Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi which ultimately resulted in his murder. Ever since, Libya is in chaos and anarchy.
Ukraine Coup: In 2014, the CIA under the Obama/Biden administration helped carry out a coup in Ukraine overthrowing a democratically pro-Russia president who is replaced by a corrupt comedian named Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Proxy War in Ukraine: NATO invited Zelenskyy to join the NATO which was a red line for Russia. America and NATO countries encouraged Ukraine leaders to defy Russia’s red line and insisted on Ukraine’s membership to NATO. They started supplying massive quantity of arms to Ukraine to defend and fight Russia. The result is Ukraine war which is continuing since February, 2022. This is a proxy war being carried out by the U.S. and the NATO. Their idea was to weaken Russia. They put heavy sanctions on Russia to destroy its economy. But Russia has come out unscathed as it was able to sell huge quantity of oil to China and India who have rightly defied these sanctions.
Venezuela kidnapping is just another criminal act by the United States in its violent history since many decades. Those who know the history are not surprised by this brazenly criminal act.
As per Jeffrey Sachs, between 1947 and 1989, the United States has carried out or attempted 70 regime change around the world.
The world needs to join hands, and unitedly protest and fight against these crimes by this arrogant empire who is bent on dominating the world by hook or by crook. Unless the world leaders realize and put extreme pressure on this out of control criminal empire, the third world war catastrophe if become increasingly more imminent.
