Two masked bandits including one armed with a large knife have confronted a convenience store worker during a frightening armed robbery.

Police shared vision of the chilling late-night raid as their hunt for the young males involved stretched into an eighth week.

The pair stormed Free Choice Carlisle on Archer St in Carlisle, Perth about 11.55pm on Thursday, June 11.

In footage shared by authorities, the worker scrambles away as one of the males moves towards him holding a large blade, and his accomplice follows behind.

The armed male then goes to the register, managing to open it.

The pair pocketed cash and other various items before fleeing eastbound on foot towards Orrong Rd.

The worker was not injured.

The Rapid Apprehension Squad have appealed for information as they continue to hunt down the males, believed to be young adults.

Both were wearing black hooded sweatshirts, black tracksuit pants and black trainers.

One was wearing a balaclava and the other a medical mask.

They are described as 170cm tall.
