Ask some of the world’s biggest celebrities, from Lady Gaga and Chappell Roan to Ariana Grande and Hailey Bieber, what their biggest style secret is — and many of them will reply with three simple words.

High Heel Jungle.

The Aussie brand has built a steady and loyal fanbase since it was launched by Hollywood entertainment reporter Kathryn Eisman in 2017 as a side hustle to her busy day job.

The label — which is now stocked by The Iconic, Anthropologie, Nordstrom and, most recently nationwide at Myer — originally focused on statement and coloured socks, but later moved into fashion tights and accessories.

These days, High Heel Jungle is reporting major growth, driven by celebrities who love the brand and the fact that it has been featured on the runways at the recent Australian Fashion Week.

Some recent coups for High Heel Jungle include a trip on Delta Goodrem’s triumphant Eurovision tour, inclusion in Meghan Trainor’s new release and a moment in the Devil Wears Prada 2.

High Heel Jungle was also worn by Doja Cat during her sold-out London concert, as well as being featured on the cover of Numero Netherlands on the Pussy Cat Dolls.

“So much of entrepreneurship happens behind the scenes,” Kathryn said.

“You’re sketching ideas, developing samples and trying to bring something new into the world long before anyone sees it.

“Then suddenly you wake up and discover your designs are on an international magazine cover and being worn by one of the biggest artists on the planet, like Doja Cat and The Pussy Cat Dolls. Those moments never get old.”

The Aussie brand first came about from Kathryn’s belief that what you wear beneath can transform how you walk in the world.

Kathryn famously reported frustration with the lack of creativity and quality of hosiery on the market when she was working as an entertainment reporter.

So, she founded her own brand, which immediately caught the attention of celebrities, stylists and journalists.

When it comes to some of the top-selling products on the High Heel Jungle website and at The Iconic and Myer, there are many.

The Mercury Tights in Black ($59) are as popular with regular shoppers as they are celebrities, thanks to their futuristic design and super sleek opaque material.

Others love the Celebration Fishnet Tights ($84), which feature an impressive array of jewelled floral appliques.

I’ve got my eye on a number of the pairs of tights and socks on the website, including the Crystal Sky Socks ($35), the Frou-Frou Faux Fur Trim Combed Cotton Socks ($48) and the Florence Lambskin Leather Opera Gloves ($195).

But really, there is so much to love on the website — and I completely agree with the theory that a pair of tights is one of the quickest, easiest and cheapest ways to upgrade an outfit.

Reviews online for High Heel Jungle are glowing, with many shoppers having given the items five star write-ups.

“Literally the softest material ever and you will not regret the quality,” writes one happy shopper.

“Stretchy shiny and ultra opaque. Flattering high waisted comfort and footed, ” another adds.

The brand is the number one-selling hosiery label on The Iconic, with items only continuing to sell out.
